Using A+ Benefits at Crowder College
Students who graduate from an A+ accredited high school can use
their benefits to have their tuition fees and books paid for at
the Webb City CampusCenter. For information on how to use your A+ benefits
at Crowder College, call 417-455-5572.
What to do to get started
- Complete an Application for admission. A $25 application fee must accompany your application. Applications may be completed online at www.crowder.edu
- Placement Exam: COMPASS or ACT. Compass is a computerized placement exam that will help your academic advisor place you in the correct Ehnglish and Math Classes. ACT test results: You must have a 19 on the English portion, a 22 on the math and at least an 18 on the reading to be placed in and English or math class. If you dont have the scores you have to take the COMPASS. Placement exams must be on file before enrollment.
- Have your highschool transcript or GED scores, plus any previous college transcripts, sent to the Records Office prior to enrollment.
- Make Payment arrangemnets. Cash, payment plan, scholarship, financial aid ( apply for finical aid online at www.fasa.ed.gov, Crowder school code: 002459.) All A+ program and CAMP students must apply for financial aid.
- Review the schedule of classes. This will give you a chance to become familiar with the types of classes Crowder has to offer and the different times they are held. Check out the schedule on our web site.
- Make an appointment to enroll with an advisor by calling 417-673-2345
